Greetings Friends!

This week we continue to reflect on our short series digging into how we can RESOLVE to make Jesus our chief affection in 2010.  If you haven’t heard the podcast yet, make sure and listen to it on iTunes.  Last week we looked at how we can pray for the mission and this week we want to discuss how we must:

2.  Pursue the mission

According to Jesus, the mission He has called us to is the mission of disciple making.  There are some practical ways we can do this both individually and corporately.

Individually:

• Take the already existent rhythms of life (eating, working, resting, playing) and reorder them for the mission of Jesus
• Pursue relationship with those who do not know Jesus and begin to point them to Him
• Begin to pursue intentional relationship with your neighbors, baristas, servers at restaurants, co-workers, and classmates

 

Corporately:

• We will continue to grow in our service to PHD in downtown Palatine

This mission is what we were made for. This mission is about Jesus. Let’s resolve to make Jesus our chief affection this year and purse the mission together!
