There are few pastors like John Piper and I jump at any chance to hear a bit more about his personal life and pursuit of Jesus. I don't think there is anyone alive who preaches with his passion. I have heard him say we should preach in a way that people walk away saying, "I may not believe everything that guy said, but He sure does!"

I was walking out of my favorite coffee shop on Saturday when the Chicago Tribune caught my eye. I could have sworn the cover story had a shot of my friend Dave Mudd leading worship with the lyrics on the movie screen behind him. As I looked closer I saw that it was in fact true!
The Tribune ran an article on theater churches this weekend and they interviewed the guys at my home church, Northwest Family Church. It's a great article and great for them. Hopefully a ton more people find their way there...
